Meaning O Madhusudan, when teachers fathers, sons, grandfather, maternal uncles, father in law, grandsons, brother in law and other relatives are ready to give up their life and stand against me,why should I wish to kill them. Even though otherwise, they might kill me. O maintainer of all living beings,I am not prepared to fight with them even in exchange of the three world, let alone this world. What pleasure will we derive from killing the sons of Dhritarastra? ExplanationArjun is giving all the examples to evade the battle with a logical mind set of a noble person, not willing to kill his own blood relatives for a mere kingdom because the whole concept of true happiness will be lost with the advent of the war ,as who shall enjoy the abundance of material wealth and kingdom.  The life is described beautifully in these verses that worldly attachments find happiness through earning  a lot of money, building great houses, and taking care of our own people considering it to be real happiness . We forget that real happiness lies within. So considering other aspects of our connection with others ,make us more attached with our relatives involved in exchange of many things in life as a barter. The bond is so strong to be broken .  Arjun hints that even after killing and winning the war after slaying family members, the desire to live in this world shall be obliterated from our hearts as of  what avail ,will  all the power and comfort bring after the advantages are not enjoyed by the family members as we would never be able to flaunt them or enjoy them in the real sense of the word.
