Meaning On the other side ,both Lord Krishna and Arjun stationed on a great chariot driven by white horses blew their overwhelming, transcendental conch shells. ExplanationLet’s delve more into the details of that blissful and transcendental chariot as it had the company of Lord Krishna ,the supreme controller and the great warrior Arjun. This made the chariot magnify in its beauty, because of divine presence . The divine manifestation of lord krishna called as Madhav . If we bifurcate the word Madhav, the ‘Maa’ signify the mother ,goddess of wealth and the letters Dhav signify the husband of Goddess Lakhmi. So ,the name ‘Madhav’,is synonym for ‘Laxmipati’. Arjun is the lineage of pandav and is the most powerful of pandavas ,holding the top position of power . Both Lord Krishna and Arjun , blew their respective conch shells, creating the huge sound encompassing the whole universe.
However ,a confusion surfaces in this situation that though the chief of army was Bhishma ,his blowing the conch shell was understood but the person ,who blew the conch shell from the side of Pandavs was Lord Krishna himself. The official chief of army , designated for the task was DhristaDhumn. The deeper meaning to all this will lead us to a divine revelation that God may entrust himself as a companion to be along the side of his devotee is the original master ,who undertakes any thing as he wills and remains the supreme master of the universe.
The lord manifested and displayed his powers as a child ,who taught Indra ,a big lesson and made people stop praying to Indra and told his devotees to pay the obeisance and start praying the Goverdhan mountain instead. The conclusive truth is the existence of the dominant principles of power, always remains with lord almighty in all times and in all the situations. So Lord Krishna blew the conch shell first, even as the companion to Arjun suggesting to elevate the position of companionship . The Word ‘Sarthi’ holds a significant position in Sanatan . Lord Krishna as Sarhi / companion means that victory is assured.
