Meaning “Then Bhishma ,the most valiant warrior, expressed his pleasure and blew his conch shell very loudly, filling Duryodhana with great pleasure. After that a combined and heavy sounds of conch shell,biguls,trumpet and horns etc filled the atmosphere with an astounding sound.” ExplanationPitamah was the eldest among the Kauravas, to please Duryodhana, Pitamah said that just like when a lion roars, even big animals like elephants get scared, in the same way, just by roaring, everyone gets scared and Duryodhana Be happy.  In this spirit, Bhishma roared like a lion and blew a loud and impressive conch.  Bhishma did not blow the conch to start the war, he blew the conch to please Duryodhana. When Bhishma blew his conch, conch shells, drums, drums, mridangams and trumpets sounded simultaneously in the Kaurava army, that sound became very terrifying. The words, that is, the voice, were resonating very loudly.
